A Babyish Predicament


Warmth.  Fuzzy fabric against the skin.  The heavy, encompassing weight of a blanket tucked in tightly.  The soft and quiet tone of a lullaby filling otherwise empty air.  The&squishy crinkle of a wet diaper?


Giving a near-instinctual suckle on the silicone teat of a pacifier that currently resided in his mouth, something he was rather proud of after working on sleeping with his binky for the last couple weeks, James slowly came to consciousness.  As his eyes blearily opened, they were greeted with the sight of Winnie the Pooh, Rabbit, Piglet, and Tigger too, all slowly rotating above him while the mobile that they hung from chimed out Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.  To the left and right of Pooh and his friends, long wooden bars, painted a soft pastel blue, rose high on either side to keep James safe and snug in his place of rest.


A crib, James thought to himself.  But he didnt have a crib.  This must be a dream!  Satisfied with the drowsy, noticeably hungover explanation, the twenty-five-year-old snuggled in further under the Care Bears comforter and just soaked in the feeling, including a brief closing of his thighs to enjoy the bulky squish of his soaked diaper.  


His comfort didnt last long, however, as the ease and relaxation of the moment caused his mind to wander, allowing events from the previous night to slowly trickle back into his memory.  James woke fully as his eyes snapped open in shock.  This wasnt his crib.  Hell, this wasnt even his house.  Hed gone home with&damn, what was his name?  James shook his head, pushing the blanket off to the side, only to find two new surprises.
